Raise your Greek beer glasses

With a focus on Greek craft beer, a festival at Brewfellas aims to get the drinking public to raise its glasses next weekend with the hosting of the first Brewfellas Greek Craft Beer Festival.

Over the last few years the craft beer movement has exploded to include a large number of independently owned breweries that produce small amounts of beer.

More and more countries are getting into the craft beer game and Greece is no exception. Over the last two years alone there has been a surge in microbrewery openings from the mainland to the most remote islands. New microbreweries are rising up to challenge the old style of brewing.

If you love beer, you will know that the hunt for the perfect beer could take months or years and even then you may not be satisfied. This is why the gang behind Brewfellas spent months researching and finding the best Greek craft beers out there. Now that the research is over the pub is ready to introduce 22 different kegs from 10 microbreweries during its first two-day Greek Craft Beer Festival. This is also the first time that some of these beers will be available on the island and according to the founders of the bar, some of them are so rare that you can’t even find them in Greece.

To make this festival experience even more special for beer lovers, Brewfellas will only issue 100 entrance tickets per day. The cost for one day is €7, which includes your entrance ticket, a tasting glass and one beer ticket. For both days the cost is €12, which includes your entrance ticket for both days, a tasting glass and two beer tickets. Every extra beer ticket is €3.50, for which your tasting glass will be filled.
