Anastasiades has phone call with Biden

President Nicos Anastasiades held a telephone conversation on Friday with US Vice President Joe Biden, during which they discussed the Cyprus issue.
CNA has learnt that they reviewed the course of the Cyprus negotiations and discussed the chapter of security and guarantees, as well as the multilateral conference on Cyprus that will begin on January 12 in Geneva.
Anastasiades and Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci decided to meet in Geneva on January 9. On January 11 they will present their respective maps. On January 12 a conference on Cyprus will be convened with the added participation of the guarantor powers, while other relevant parties will be invited as needed.
