There are only 26 days until Christmas, that means the countdown is really on and the Christmas shopping should have already begun.

But for those who really want to wait for the festive season to kick in or those who haven’t got everything yet, here are a couple of ideas on where and when you can get those gifts ticked off your list.

For the second year, the Ark Pop Up Shop will be packed with some great gift ideas in Larnaca as of Saturday. The Ark is an initiative of local artists and crafters who collaborate to create events where they can exhibit, showcase and sell a rich variety of artwork and handmade products.

You will be able to enjoy a great selection of gift options including handmade soaps, bags, accessories, jewellery, artworks, home decoration and much more. Plus, you can also meet the artists behind the work and at the opening you can have a snack or two, and wash it down with a drink.

In Paphos, Technopolis 20 Cultural Centre invites all to its third Christmas bazaar on Sunday. There will be handmade creations, ranging from jewellery, Christmas ornaments, candies, bags, books, scarves and much more.

For one more year artists, professionals and amateur creators, but also voluntary organisations will participate in the market, where ideal and unique Christmas gifts will await.

If you would much rather prefer something hand-made by your child, then the cultural centre is also offering a children’s workshop on the same day at 11am, where children will make and take home their own creations. Artist Chara Papadopoulou will be leading the workshop. Participation costs €6.

And the fun doesn’t end there. At 3.30pm the children’s choir of the Music Studio Aspa Vassiliou will sing Christmas songs.
