Hunter injured after three-metre fall

A 65-year-old hunter was injured on Sunday when he lost his balance and feel three metres into a ravine in the Larnaca area, police said.

The man was out hunting near Kofinou at around 9am with two other people when he fell.

He was taken to Larnaca hospital and was found to have suffered head and facial injuries, including a contusion to the brain, and was kept in for treatment.

His condition is said to be serious but not critical, police said.
