Mont Pelerin talks expected to last two days

Talks in Switzerland between the leaders of the island’s divided communities are expected to last two days, according to the UN.

According to the Cyprus News Agency, the UN have asked the Greek and Turkish Cypriot sides to confirm that the talks will resume this Sunday and finish on Monday.

The two sides are expected to return to Mont Pelerin, where they spent five days last week discussing the thorny aspect of territory.

The talks are scheduled to start at 9am local time.
