Arrest in connection with robbery and threats

A 38-year-old man was arrested in Paphos on Tuesday in connection with a case of robbery, issuing threats, and other offences, a police report said.

According to the report, a 21-year-old man claimed that, on two occasions, on November 3 and 6, three men went to his home and, after threatening and grabbing him by the throat, took his mobile phone.

He claimed that, following the incidents, he was treated at the Paphos general emergency room.

Police arrested the 38-year-old in connection with the case, while two others are wanted.
