In abstract we trust

The Opus 39 Gallery in Nicosia will pay tribute to abstract art tomorrow with the opening of the solo exhibition Life Path by Ludmila Budanov.

Budanov, who studied art and design in Russia and then went on to study painting in Germany, is passionate about representing the art of abstract painting. One of the reasons she finds such comfort in this kind of artwork is that it enables her to express her temper. She is confident that through colour and figurative images, she has the opportunity to fully express herself, surrendering unlimited flights of fancy. Being without any strict forms or artistic expectations, the viewer can then bring forward their own style, imagination and experience with them when looking upon the paintings.
