Beer, glorious beer

The beer will flow freely at Paphos’ medieval castle for three days during the sixth Paphos Beer Festival, which starts tomorrow.

Other cities may have their version of a beer festival, but this one is at an ancient location, with the Mediterranean as a back drop, and it combines the pleasure of drinking beer with live music, fun for the kids and flyboard shows.

There will be over 100 beers from around the world at the festival including HB, Keo, Carlsberg, Amstel, Becks, Leon, Guinness, Corona, Heineken, Budvar, Murphy’s, Stella Artois, Veddet, Abbot Ale, Boddingtons and many more of the world’s finest beers.

Also you will have the chance to learn the tips and tricks of brewing your own beer.

While drinking a nice, cold beer, enjoy live entertainment with performances from bands, DJs and dance ensembles from Cyprus and Europe. There will also be a fireworks show, a 3D mapping presentation and fire shows.

Although the kids can’t enjoy the beer, they can jump up and down on the bouncy castle, enjoy some goofing around with clowns and also have their face painted.

There is more. You can compete in beer drinking competitions and win lots of prizes.
