Paphos airport taxi drivers to strike

TAXI drivers servicing Paphos airport will be mounting a one-day strike next Wednesday to protest against their longstanding demands not being met.

In a statement, their union said the action is being taken to protest parking issues at the airport.

They want to be given back the parking spaces designated for taxis when the airport first opened.

Their 24-hour strike will start at 6am on Wednesday, one of the two busiest days of the week at the airport.
