KEO’s posts €1m in Q1 pre-tax loss

KEO Plc Ltd, Cyprus’s flagship in the alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage industry, said that it generated a €1m pre-tax loss in the first three months of 2016 compared to a €1.2m loss in the respective three-month period of 2015.

The company’s improved performance resulted mainly from an 11 per cent annual increase in turnover in the first quarter attributed to increased domestic consumption and increased tourist arrivals, KEO said in a statement on the website of the Cyprus Stock Exchange without providing further details.
