Life in all different colours

Last year our island had its first Colour Festival and, because it was such a bright event, it will be making another splash this year on July 2 at the Ayia Napa stadium.

You have two months to buy your tickets, buy your white t-shirt – which won’t stay white for long – and arrange to get yourself to the place where we all head in the summer.

There are no clear-cut details on what exactly will be going on, but there will definitely be music, lots of laughs and almost every colour in the rainbow.

There will be food, beverages and extract colour powder available at the stadium.

The event is inspired by the original Holi in India which marks the coming of spring, and it is now celebrated on all four continents.

Tickets are available on the event’s website www.colourfestcy.com and will cost €15 until May 2, after which the price will go up to €20 pre-sale, so get clicking if you want to be dressed in colour this summer season.
