Nuland is visiting Cyprus on Tuesday and Wednesday and will be accompanied by Deputy Assistant Secretary for Southern Europe and Eastern Mediterranean Affairs, Amanda Sloat.
“Assistant Secretary Nuland is looking forward to returning to Cyprus to meet with President Nicos Anastasiades, Mr Mustafa Akinci, and UN Special Adviser to the Secretary-General on Cyprus Espen Barth Eide in order to hear about progress in the talks to resolve the longstanding division of the island and to discuss bilateral issues,” the press release noted.
She will also meet with other senior officials.
