Jamie’s Italian to open before Easter

JAMIE Oliver’s latest Italian restaurant will reportedly open the week before Easter in Nicosia.

Oliver is a TV celebrity chef, restaurateur and media personality, famous for his innovative food-focused television shows, cookbooks and more recently, his global campaign for better food education. His restaurant group, Jamie’s Italian, is one of the fastest growing in the UK with 40 locations around the country – a remarkable growth since the first opening in Oxford in 2008.

“We’ll be sourcing lots of beautiful, top-quality local produce, and cooking up some incredibly tasty food, and all at a reasonable price. We’re currently on the lookout for local people with a passion for food to join as chefs and front of house staff.”

Jamie’s Italian is located in Engomi in Nicosia, near Caffè Nero.

“The building is designed in such a way that it has a unique identity, in line with the ‘local colour’ of  the location,” a press release stated.
