The scene is set in Larnaca

World day of theatre for children and young people is coming up on March 20 and to get children over seven-years-old as involved as they can in the world of theatre, the Little Muse Theatre in Larnaca is holding a workshop for children and their parents to enjoy.

The workshop will zoom into Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and introduce the play’s main themes through a variety of games and exercises. Play along and learn all about the tragic plot of how two star-crossed lovers meet their destiny, the characters from two households, and the timeless and universal themes of the storyline.

The workshop will be led by Catherine Beger, Lefteris Moschovias and Mohammed Awwad – the three musketeers who always making child’s play a lot more fun.

Learning will be played out both inside the theatre studio and outside in the garden – weather permitting.

The event will take place from 3pm until 5.30pm, with a short break in the middle and refreshments.
