Paphos bakery robbery remand

A 25-year-old man was remanded for four days on Monday in connection with a robbery on a bakery in Paphos.

The man was arrested on Monday morning after he was reported as the perpetrator of a robbery in a bakery earlier in the day. The 25-year-old denies any involvement in the case.

The robbery occurred at around 3.25am when a man who had his face covered, entered a bakery in Paphos and under knifepoint, reportedly immobilised the shop’s employee and stole between €220 and €250 from the cash register.

Police secured a report against the 25-year-old man who was arrested some four hours later.
