Mozart and Beethoven at the fingers of a girl

For two performances, 12-year-old soloist Daria Kravtcova will join the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra to perform in a concert entitled I Believe in God, Mozart and Beethoven.

Kravtcova, first prize winner of the 20th Evangelia Tjiarri International Piano Competition, will interpret Beethoven’s piano concerto no. 1 which features a robust first movement, a meditative slow movement and a zesty, witty rondo. She will also perform Mozart’s 39th Symphony, which is one of his last three symphonies, considered to be among his most consummate works.

The pianist, who will share the stage with conductor Vladimiros Symeonides, will also perform Byzantine Tribute by Solon Michaelides.
