Tsipras due on the island Wednesday

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is set to arrive in Cyprus on Wednesday for bilateral and tripartite meetings.

Heading to Israel first for bilateral meetings with his counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu and accompanied by nine ministers, Tsipras will on the same day head to Larnaca.

His deputy foreign minister Dimitris Mardas will be visiting Palestine.

Six of his ministers will be accompanying him on his visit to the island.

Tsipras’ schedule calls for a 20 minute meeting with President Nicos Anastasiades starting at 9:20pm followed by bilateral meetings between the two countries during his visit.

Cyprus will also be conducting bilateral meetings with Israel on Thursday and the there will be a tripartite meeting between the three leaders.
