Opening up, once more

Artists generally like to work in solitude. We get the chance to see inside these private worlds to view where all the magic happens with the Open Studios events. Not to get too far ahead of ourselves, Open Studios has a new website (www.cyprusopenstudios.com) and is getting ready to give visitors a tour of artists throughout Cyprus in their studios in October. Yes, it is only January but if you are an artist and you want to register to take part in the event, you can do so on the website by April 30.

The event is much more than just artists letting us into their art space, it is a chance to meet the people behind the art, ask them questions and also meet like-minded people. You will also get to see demonstrations, buy some artwork, enter the event’s free prize draw and also take part in creative workshops.

The website is constantly being upgraded and soon it will also have an on-line shop where participants will be able to sell their art.
