The Superkids are coming

By Maria Gregoriou

There is a lot of hoopla about 2016 being the year of change, of new alliances and of a new economic status, but what they haven’t told you is that it is also a year of some of the most magnificent shows.

Starting off this year of greatness and grandness will be the Flying Superkids, a family show with 29 children from Denmark, doing acrobatics and vocal-dance performances.

All 29 of these fantastic flying kids will be putting on two equally wonderful performances on January 16 at the Tassos Papadopoulos-Eleftheria Arena in Nicosia and on January 17 at Spyros Kyprianou Arena in Limassol.

This young gymnastics team was created in 1967 and approximately 400 children from five to 17 years old are trained in artistic gymnastics each year. Once the children are ready to perform, they tour all over the world – normally during school holidays – to present their successful show and prove to us that with determination children really can fly.

The kids have toured Japan, America and the whole of Europe, giving thousands of audiences this great experience.

The Flying Superkids are being brought to Cyprus by the charity foundation of Andrey & Julia Dashin. The foundation’s main objective is to help children and families with financial problems and because all children deserve to at least see what it could be like to fly, the foundation will be giving a large number of tickets to children from these families.

Tickets can be purchased via tickethour.com.cy or by calling 77- 77704.
