Presidential visit to Ukraine

President Nicos Anastasiades will travel to Ukraine on Thursday for a two-day official visit.

Anastasiades will be officially welcomed by the president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko at the presidential palace.

Following a private meeting, the two presidents will preside over a meeting between the delegations of the two countries.

During the visit, Cyprus and Ukraine will sign a series of bilateral agreements.

Anastasiades and Poroshenko will visit the offices of the Ukraine commerce and industry chamber where they will meet with Cypriot and Ukrainian businessmen.

In the afternoon, Anastasiades will meet with Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and then with the Speaker of the Parliament Volodymyr Groysman.

The president, who will be accompanied by the Minister of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism Giorgos Lakkotrypis and the Deputy Government Spokesman Viktoras Papadopoulos, will return to Cyprus on 12 December.
