A day of fun for all children

By Maria Gregoriou

On Sunday, every child in every city in Cyprus can enjoy a day of fun, dedicated to all special needs children for which this year’s Radiomarathon is collecting funds.

The Coop Kids Festival will kick off at 10am and go all the way through to 6pm.

Your children – and you – will have the chance to stretch the sleep out of their system with some yoga, or they can see how graffiti can brighten up outdoor spaces at 10am. Next up, instead of painting walls the kids can have their face painted and also take part in a number of workshops from 11am until 4pm. Don’t worry, they won’t have to rush from one activity to another non-stop, there will be short breaks for everyone to catch their breath.

Also at 11am, the children can enjoy 45 minutes of storytelling, which will also come alive in sign language. The story will be repeated again at 1.15pm.

When lunch time comes ticking around, it will be time for a theatrical workshop, with lots and lots of playing involved. This workshop will also run at 2.30pm.

With every €5 admission for children, a badge will be given. Children will be able to participate in all the activities during the festival.
