Drugs remand

The Larnaca District court on Saturday ordered the four-day remand of a 28-year-old man from Chirokitia in connection with illegally possessing drugs with the intent to sell.
Police investigators told the court that around 4:30 pm on Friday, near Chirokitia, 30 grams of cannabis was found in a car and seized as evidence.
The 28-year-old was also found to be carrying 1.3 grams of cannabis on his person.
The Larnaca drug squad continues to investigate the case.
