Rainy Thursday, weekend storms

LOCAL showers and storms are expected over the weekend, while temperatures will remain at present levels, the met office said on Wednesday.

On Thursday, local showers and storms are expected inland and over the mountains.

According to the met service, as of Friday and until Sunday, rainfall and storms are expected to affect the whole of the island.

Temperatures will remain the same from Thursday to Sunday, the met office said, at 26 degrees Celsius inland and the coastal areas, and 18C in the mountainous areas. Temperatures are within normal levels for the season.
