Down it, down it

Forget about the annual Oktoberfest, now you can get straight to beer tasting without travelling all the way to Munich – with the OctoberTest which will be jugging along as of Tuesday.

Moondog’s Bar & Grill in Nicosia will hold three highly-spirited nights with 120 brands of beer from 20 countries, food and live music from local musicians.

Be prepared to taste some beers you have never heard of before, as they will be given their premier on the island.

And you can vote for the best beer, so let the drinking begin.
