Eide tweets happy birthday to Anastasiades

UN Special Adviser Espen Barth Eide wished President Nicos Anastasiades a happy birthday on Sunday through his twitter page. The president, who is in New York was 69 on Sunday.

Eide tweeted: Happy birthday, @AnastasiadesCY! Warm regards from all of us in the #UN Team. @UN_CYPRUS #Cyprus

According to Greek Reporter,  a media outlet in the US, Anastasiades celebrated his birthday at an event organised by the Federation of Cypriot American Organisations on September 25. It said that although the president’s birthday was on September 27, Diaspora Cypriots surprised him two days in advance during an event in honor of US Senator Schumer.

Anastasiades thanked the federation in a tweet of his own own, posting a link to the video on You Tube.
