Time for yoga

By Maria Gregoriou

Sunday is a great day to go outdoors, explore nature and get some exercise and we have the perfect event to get your body moving, your relationship with nature truly in flow, and your mind more relaxed than it has been in a long time: the First Open Yoga Day Cyprus 2015, which will take place at Promenade, Molos, in Limassol.

This event is being put together by the non-profit organisation Open Yoga Day Cyprus, and it aims to establish itself as an institution with yearly annual movable events in all towns.

Special elements of this event are set to take place in public and key locations where there is public interaction. The idea is inspired by similar events from abroad and the aim is to promote physical and mental health, well-being, collectivity and unity.

Anyone can join in, from people who have never done yoga before to yoga teachers, so that – along with getting some stretching done – we can also celebrate our differences.
Yoga will start at 3pm and participants will be led by instructors Paris Chrysanthos, Andria Kyriacou, and Natasha Nirou.
