Harmful pistachios recalled

A BATCH of pistachio nuts has been recalled after the health services detected high levels of aflatoxins.

According to the health services the Castania Pistachios, batch L:439U, expiry date 02/2016, weight: 90g, were found to contain high concentrations of aflatoxins and have been recalled by the importer.

Consumers who may have purchased the item should return it, an official statement said.
