Not getting to the root of the problem

Mr Alper Riza. Coming from the UK where inner London now has a 37 per cent foreign-born population, which is expected to increase exponentially within a short time by over 50 per cent, I wonder what would be your judgment if the current lull among Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshis becomes a storm of unrest against the British National Party (BNP), who want ‘whites only’ and wants all other immigrants repatriated to their homelands?

Please don’t tell me that the average British proud Anglo Saxon is happy about their child being in a classroom when sometimes they are the only white-skinned persons there(check with Newham Council, East London).

If this race difference which is much more profound than the one between the GC’s and the TC’s, who are hard (or impossible) to tell apart after over 400 years together, is used by the BNP to incite hatred through racial unrest, would the authorities start programmes to educate the population for inter racial harmony, or allow the separatists their demands for safety under a federation.

I had hoped you would get to the root of the problem and so judge whether a federation is the best alternative to a fully united one independent state with no borders and with equal rights for all its citizens thus leaving no exit for partition.

Focusing your judgments on the historical failings of Cypriot political parties leaders and blaming them for non co-operation for a solution, was less constructive. So unless you make up for your error of judgment, my support for you as a future political leader here will wane.
