Remand of man wanted since March

A 34-year-old man from Paphos was remanded for six days on Saturday in connection with drug cultivation, possession and intent to supply others.

The man, who was wanted by the police since March, was arrested on Friday.

The suspect is believed to be involved in the discovery of a large cannabis plantation in two villas in Paphos in early March.

Police had discovered 68 cannabis plants and cannabis weighing almost nine kilos in the two villas.

For the same case two other people were arrested at the time, a man and a woman both aged 51.
