Water reserves at 50 per cent

Reservoirs, at 50 per cent of capacity are full enough to meet the high demand during the summer months, according to Water Development Department deputy Andreas Manolis.

Speaking to the Cyprus News Agency he said reserves were at a much better level than last year’s 38 per cent. However people should still be careful with how much they use as shortage of supply was a chronic long-term problem.
