Ryanair website and mobile app to close for 10 hours

Ryanair said on Wednesday that its online check-in service will not be available as its website and mobile app will close for 10 hours, from 9pm Cyprus time on Friday June 19, until 7am Cyprus time on Saturday June 20 for a systems upgrade.

The airline called on all customers travelling on Friday and Saturday to check-in online for their flight on/before Thursday June 18, well before the above web closure takes place. New bookings or changes to existing flights will not be possible during this web closure, it said.

Ryanair is contacting all intending customers travelling on Friday and Saturday June by email and SMS text to advise them to check in online on/before Thursday to avoid disruption.

Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said: “We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by this upgrade, which will further improve Ryanair.com, Europe’s largest travel website.”
