A new groove

When you think of Limassol night life Guaba bar comes straight to mind. And now that winter has finally shut-up shop for the year and the beach bar is open for another great season, we can be sure that we have somewhere to go every weekend to get our groove on.

This Sunday coming up, the sand and sun will be joined by DJ duo NEW_ID from Amsterdam.

The DJs, Ralph van Vugt & Devi van der Horst, have been spinning together since 2008. The boys’ debut single Aerogames proved to be a unique energising club record, which was heavily supported by Pete Tong and Danny Howard, just to name a couple of DJs who loved their first recorded sound.

But this success doesn’t mean that the DJ duo creates big sounds for big rooms, rather they create emotive melodies for everyone in the club or festival to move to.

Staying away from the status quo made NEW_ID exactly that, a new identity of music and also gave the boys a stellar 2014.

With their eyes strictly on giving more, the gig on Sunday and all the gigs for 2015, are said to provide the European house music scene with what it has been waiting for.
