Anastasiades due to leave for Poland and Russia

President Nicos Anastasiades leaves on Thursday for Poland where he will participate in ceremonies to mark the end of World War II.

During his stay in Warsaw, the President will hold bilateral meeting with heads of state as well as with the President of the European Council.

On Friday he will travel to the Russian Federation, where he will participate in the events, which will take place on Saturday to mark Victory in Europe Day (VE Day).

In Moscow, Anastasiades will meet President Vladimir Putin, and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, and other heads of state and government.

The President, who will be accompanied by Government Spokesman Nicos Christodoulides, will return to Cyprus Sunday.
