Labour Day is on its way, it is a Friday and the weather is getting just right for a walk (or a little boogie-woogie) on the beach – the perfect formula for a party.

American soulful house DJ, producer and remixer Dennis Ferrer will be helping Ammos Beach Bar on Makenzie Beach in Larnaca celebrate its tenth birthday.

Ferrer has tipped more than just his toe in just about all kind of house music that the music scene has come up with. He has been involved in the afro centric house side of the musical scale and with a mix of tech and soul.

The DJ started to be well-known in the 90s with his Afro and gospel house music, which he released on his Sfere label. Since then Ferrer has released tune after tune, always with a sound of originality and a look to the music of the future. He has worked with great names, such as Andre Hommen, and has got people all around the world electrified with house music.

Ammos Beach Bar is planning on celebrating for the whole month, and just because they are in an extra party mood, all events will be free.
