More teenage girls come forward about teacher abuse

MORE teen girls have come forward to file sexual abuse complaints against the 49-year-old high-school teacher from Larnaca, according to police.

The teacher is currently in custody for allegedly sexually harassing a 13-year-old girl in Larnaca.

According to the head of the Victims of Violence Protection Bureau, Kostas Veis, police have received complaints from more girls and will expand the investigation.

The education ministry has come under heavy fire after it emerged the teacher was reported for sexual abuse in the past but was allowed back in the schoolroom in another town.
