Yields of Cyprus’s ten-year bond expiring in March 2020 fell today to 4.11 per cent, the lowest ever since Cyprus was shut out of markets four years ago, on the very day the European Central Bank started its expanded asset purchase programme.

The average yield on the Cypriot bonds averaged at 5.15 per cent in the past twelve months, according to Bloomberg data. On March 3, 2014, the yield on the secondary market was almost 6.31 per cent.
