Limassol’s invite to join longest chain of smiley people

Limassol will attempt to form the longest chain of smiley people on Saturday.

The event is in aid of the Cyprus Alliance for Rare Disorders (CARD), and it titled ‘Unique Smiles’, to mark World Rare Diseases Day.

CARD, is inviting everyone to participate in the event which will take place at 11am on the seafront promenade across from the Enaerios parking lot.

During the event, which is under the auspices of first lady Andri Anastasiades, the Cyprus ΒΜW Club Motorrad Riders and the classic mini cars’ association, which have been no a charity drive islandwide, will go through Limassol and pass the finishing line as part of the event.

There will also be activities for children like face painting, a stilt walker and other surprises.

The Cyprus Alliance for Rare Disorders was founded in 2010 and now comes together as the voice of around 6,000 rare disease patients.
