Police find RPG in Larnaca

ACTING on a tipoff, police on Thursday were led to an anti-tank rocket propelled grenade (RPG) that was lying in an open space in Larnaca.

Larnaca CID found at the site an anti-tank missile launcher, the propellant and a missile. All were in operational condition.

The evidence has been sent for analysis. Police are investigating whether the weapon could be linked to any criminal act.
