Cyprus must do homework to hope external factors will allow new borrowing (updated)

Cyprus must do its homework and comply with its bailout terms as developments in Greece and Russia may create unfavourable conditions for a new market exit, a financial advisor said.

The government, which plans to return to the markets by the end of this year, is planning to issue twice new debt by December, finance minister Harris Georgiades said January 5.
