Jilted teenager remanded for allegedly threatening ex girlfriend

A 19-year-old was remanded for four days by the Limassol District court on Wednesday, on suspicion of threatening a 25-year-old woman with a hunting shotgun in the early hours of the morning.
According to the police report, the teen was arrested at his home after the woman reported that he had threatened and attacked her outside her home in Limassol.
The two used to date, before the 25-year-old broke the relationship off. The 19-year-old, according to the report, had been demanding they get back together.
Both were at a club on Tuesday night where she refused again to rekindle their relationship. He then drove home, according to police, grabbed the gun belonging to a relative, and returned to the woman’s home where he confronted her.
The suspect maintains that he did not attack the 25-year old, police said.
