British mother of five choked on a piece of cake, post mortem found

Asphyxiation due to choking has been ruled as the official cause of death of the 44-year-old mother of five who was found dead on Tuesday morning, according to the state pathologist’s report.
The post mortem said the woman choked on a piece of cake, the remains of which were found next to her.
The woman, a British national married to a Cypriot, was found at 8.30am on Tuesday on the steps of Ayios Georgios (Saint George) church, located between Moutayiaka and Yermasoyia, by an Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) worker.
Authorities had ruled out foul play from the start.
The couple have five children aged between 12 and 21, police said.
