Health services boosted by diagnostic machine

AN ANGIOGRAPHY machine worth €550,000 has been donated to the Nicosia General Hospital by betting firm OPAP.

According to Health Minister Philippos Patsalis, who was at the hospital to officially receive the machine, said it will drastically decrease risks to patients’ health and minimise future health complications.

Angiography or arteriography is a medical imaging technique used to visualise the inside of blood vessels and organs of the body, with particular focus in the arteries, veins and the heart chambers.

Patsalis thanked OPAP for their generosity.
