Warning to hunters

THE Game Service has urged hunters planning an outing on Sunday, the first day of the summer hunting period, to observe the written and unwritten rules and show respect to their fellow hunters and their surroundings.

The service said lighting fires in undesignated areas was prohibited as it was easy for the flames to spread to forest fires due to the weather conditions.

The service urged hunters to get to know the hunting areas before the outing and immediately report any violations to them or the police on the 1414 hotline.
