Bag stolen

A BRITISH tourist reported to police that his home in Peyia had been broken into on Wednesday and valuables and cash were stolen.

The man said a leather bag, worth €400, which contained £200 and €100 in cash, two debit and one credit card, and jewellery of an unknown value were stolen.

Police said the thieves entered the house from a sliding door in the sitting room, which was not locked at the time.
