Delighted the Animal Party was defeated

TO THE Animal Party I’m so pleased that you got nowhere in the EU elections. Maybe now you will all get yourselves into gear and do something tangible like listening to the people who really care for animals and daily go out in the fields to feed the starving dogs and cats instead of wanting to ride the gravy train to Europe all expenses paid etc.
I and many other true animal lovers will be watching you and scrutinising your Machiavellian political strutting trying for recognition and personal political status.You do not have public support and the recent polls show that quite clearly.
You can alter this by a radical change of your agenda by joining those Cypriot and other nationalities of this island who care passionately about the horrors of animal cruelty that occur on a daily basis and do something positive.
Remember you asked the Cypriot public to join and support you. They chose not to. I now plead that you join us.
You obviously have political connections and we the animal lovers could benefit from this.
Show Cypriot society that you really do care!
Stick your head above the parapet and be counted amongst your true peers
