Limassol bus drivers suspend strike for now

Limassol bus drivers have suspended a 48-hour strike planned for Wednesday after promises that they would receive their unpaid wages for February.

But the EMEL company workers warned that if they did not receive the full amount due to them, they would go on an indefinite strike as of Friday.

The promise of emergency funding to pay them came after discussions at the House Communications and Works committee on Tuesday.
