Dherynia gets bilingual tourist map

A BILINGUAL tourist map in English and Russian, that marks all interesting locations around Dherynia, is available for free as of Thursday at the Dherynia town hall and other businesses in the area.

Making a tourist map was deemed a necessity by the municipality, to better inform tourists about the various historical and other attractions around the town.

According to the municipality, at least 8,000 Russian-speaking tourists visited the area this year.

Tourist locations marked on the map include the town hall, the Folk Art and Traditional Trades Museum, the Cultural Museum, churches, medieval sites and the local produce market.
