Limassol kiosk robbed

TWO men armed with a knife and gun robbed a kiosk in Limassol during the early hours of Wednesday, police said.

According to reports, at around 2.15am the two entered the kiosk holding a knife and a gun and threatened the 26-year-old Romanian employee, demanding he show them where the till was. The robbers took €80 in cash and fled on foot, police said.

The two culprits are described as being of thin and average build, 1.80 metres and 1.60 metres in height, aged between 25 and 30.

One man was reportedly wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans, black trainers and had his face hidden with a khaki-coloured military hood, while his partner was wearing a grey sweatshirt, black tracksuit bottoms, white trainers and had his face hidden with a black hood.
