EasyJet inaugurates its new Liverpool-Larnaca route

Hermes Airports on Tuesday hailed easyJet’s decision to introduce a new route connecting Liverpool with Larnaca for the first time.

The passengers on the first plane coming from Liverpool were welcomed on Saturday to the sound of Cypriot traditional music , and offerings of traditional sweets and the famous Koumandaria wine. The new route will include two scheduled flights per week, on Tuesdays  and Saturdays.

Hermes’ CEO, Wes Porter, said the agreement was facilitated by the Liverpool John Lennon Airport operator, Vantage Airports Group, which is a Hermes shareholder.

“We are confident that the travelling public will embrace this route and take advantage of easyJet’s amazing deals,” he added.
