Free uniforms in Paphos district

Paphos municipality’s committee for youth and sports will hand over track suits to around 500 needy primary school children in the town and wider district it was announced Tuesday.
The committee will hand over €7,500 to 13 primary schools so parents associations can purchase the clothing following a decision by the town council.
Head of the committee Chrysanthos Savvides told the Cyprus News Agency that €4,000 will also be given so needy children from secondary schools can receive a free breakfast for a month.
He added that despite the decrease in available funding, the committee had managed to save a certain amount which was aimed at helping those families in need.
